1. Bacterial Infections

• Inhalation: Breathing in airborne bacteria (e.g., tuberculosis, pneumonia).

• Open wounds or cuts: Bacteria entering through breaks in the skin.

Examples: Strep throat, urinary tract infections (UTIs), bacterial pneumonia.

2. Viral Infections

Viruses are much smaller than bacteria and require a host (such as a human cell) to replicate. Viral infections can be spread in several ways:

4. Parasitic Infections
