CAUSES & TYPES OF ORCHITIS ARE:
Both viral and bacterial infections can result in orchitis. There are situations where the cause of orchitis is unknown.
1- Pathogenic or Bacteria Orchitis
The majority of the time, epididymitis is the cause or outcome of bacterial orchitis. Usually, an infection of the bladder or urethra that travels to the epididymis causes epididymitis.
STIs are frequently the source of the infection. Additional reasons for infection may include having had a catheter or other medical equipment introduced into your penis, or having had anomalies in your urinary tract from birth.
2- Virus Orchitis
Viral orchitis is typically caused by the mumps virus. Usually four to seven days after the mumps start, about one-third of boys who get the mumps after puberty also develop orchitis.
